The picturesque location backing onto a tranquil lake made for a peaceful retreat. the spacious rooms with cozy beds and sofas were perfect for relaxation. the thoughtful amenities such as complimentary cupcakes, hot chocolate station, and breakfast items like eggs, milk, bacon. I particularly enjoyed feeding the ducks and ducklings with the available duck food - a charming touch to the overall experience. the warm welcome from the owner's friendly dog added an extra layer of hospitality. the homemade brownies and other goodies left in the house were a delightful surprise, along with the stunning riverside views. The pet-friendly atmosphere and grocery shopping service made my stay even more convenient. the well-equipped kitchen and laundry facilities were a bonus. the proximity to Exeter International Airport was also a plus, making my travel to and from the accommodation seamless. Overall, the Annex exceeded my expectations with its beautiful surroundings, cozy amenities, and exceptional customer service. I can't wait to come back for another relaxing getaway.
